Worth the package price
I was looking for a good deal on a family trip and found one of their all-inclusive getaway bundles. It included a glamping unit and access to Fun Mountain, which saved us a good chunk of change compared to booking everything separately. The glamping was a fun experience, definitely not roughing it. My kids really enjoyed the bumper cars and swimming pools. I felt like we got a lot for our money, especially with all the activities included. It felt like a good value for what we paid.

Booked a stay and play golf package. Played Payne's Valley. Course was well-maintained. Luxury lodge room was clean. Check-in was efficient. Will return for golf.
Consistent quality as always
This was my third time staying at Big Cedar Lodge. We always get one of the private log cabins, and this time was just as good as the others. The cabin was clean and well-stocked. We did the horseback riding again, and the trails were great. The staff was friendly, like before. It's why we keep coming back; you know what you're going to get, and it's always a reliable, comfortable stay. No surprises, which is what I look for in a vacation.
Fun trip, good experience
Just got back from Big Cedar Lodge. We stayed in one of the luxury cottages and it was really nice, super comfy beds. We did a sunset cruise on the Lady Liberty and it was pretty relaxing. My kids loved the arcade games at Fun Mountain too. The food at one of the lakeside places was good, a bit pricey but that was expected. Overall, a solid vacation spot for families.
Nice resort, a few small things
We booked a lodge room for a weekend getaway. The room itself was very comfortable and had a great view. The Cedar Creek Spa treatments were excellent, very relaxing. We also tried one of the fine dining restaurants and the food was delicious, though the service was a bit slow that evening. Check-in took a little longer than I expected, maybe 15 minutes, but the staff was polite. The resort has so much to offer, and we really enjoyed the nature excursions. It's a beautiful place, just a couple of minor hiccups here and there.
